Privacy Notice

ELAND CONSULTANT (PTY) LTD (registration 2025/664948/07), trading as Eland Consultant, is the responsible party for initial collection and verification. Information Officer: SIBONGILE TSHONGA.

What we collect

• Name and contact details provided by the consumer or approved source.
• The selected car-tracking, car-insurance, funeral-cover, or life-cover callback interest and only the route-specific qualification answers shown on that form.
• Campaign, source, consent, and audit evidence needed to verify the lead.
• Province, preferred language and callback time, age confirmation, and minimal product qualification answers.

Why we use it

• To receive, validate, deduplicate, and handle the requested product callback through Eland's authorised call-centre team.
• To contact the consumer using the method and callback window selected on the form, without giving regulated advice or making product recommendations.
• External provider disclosure is not authorised by the launch consent and remains disabled. A future external-recipient service requires its own approved recipient arrangement and applicable notice.
• To keep operational audit evidence, deduplicate submissions, and handle privacy requests.

Recipients and international processing

Meta and contracted hosting or communications providers may process limited information, including outside South Africa. External buyer delivery is currently disabled. Eland's authorised call-centre team is the operational recipient for the launch.

Retention and security

The approved production retention period is 365 days. Eland applies access controls, encrypted transport, audit records, suppression and deletion processes. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; suspected security compromises follow Eland's incident procedure and applicable notification duties.

Consumers can request correction, deletion, or more information by contacting Eland Consultant privacy operations at elandsconsaltants@gmail.com.

You may ask for access, correction or deletion, object to processing, withdraw consent, or require direct marketing to stop. Withdrawal and do-not-contact requests take effect immediately. You may complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.

If required contact, age and consent information is not supplied, Eland cannot validate or route the requested callback. Optional email information may be omitted.
